White & Blue

Button down has always been my partner when it comes to traveling. I don't know, it just gives me the comfy feeling whenever I wear them. Especially when its plain white. and PLUS, the plain white button down will give you that classy look yet not so formal peg when you wear it. Just to give you a tip, whenever you're in travel, never wear dark colored tops. Like black, navy blue etc. It will just give you the extreme heat through-out your journey and to mind you there's a stinky smell when your sweat dries to your colored top. Unlike white, it's always feelin' fresh and looking fresh from bath. Lol

Anyways, I wear this kind of style because that day is our departure in Baguio City. It will be a 5-hour-drive to Cabanatuan City so I prefer to wear a comfy yet ravishing look. I'm sure that you will say, Why can I just wear a shirt-short and a flip-flops? Nothing, I just want to feel the tourist vibe. HAHAHA

Night Market!!

Day 2 in our stay in Baguio City, we also tried the famous Night Market where you can choose from hundred of stalls of garments. Some are to die for but mostly the for sales are jackets, pull-overs and shoes. I tried this before when I was still studying in SLU. But it changed a lot. They have become bigger. The populations of the sellers doubled compared before. By the way, night market is open from 9 in the evening onwards, because the location is along the road, literally. They close the one way of the street just to install their stalls. The picture below is only the half part of the market. Just imagine how many choices you can pick throughout the street.

Found the Place

I finally found where I belong in terms  of dressing up. As a fan of layering my clothes, it is so hard to put together an outfit with the kind of weather in the Philippines. It will make you look stupid when you wear that kind of style everyday. So I took the chance now to wear this without looking stupid and perspiring to death. Because of the cold weather in Baguio city I was able to pull-off some layering style comfortably. If i will be given a chance to stay there for the rest of my life, I will. HAHA

Actually, before I left on my brother's pad, I am not wearing the jacket. I just partnered my button down with a pull over. But when I went outside, the rain starts to fall so I changed my outer to hoodie. The rain won't stop that time so I had a hard time in taking my OOTD's here on my blog. The sun's not up so the photo was too dark and supposedly, I was planning to shoot my OOTD beside a pine tree. But due to the heavy rain, I just searched for some covered spot with the pine tree behind.

City of Pines

I want to share something more special for me and also for my co-students in my school. Last Friday is a special holiday at our school. In somewhat reasons I don't know why they declared it as a holiday. (Who cares what is it? No classes!! Hoooray! HAHA) Then Tuesday, the next week (September 2) is also a special holiday in our province. Now I know what the reason behind this holiday is. It's Nueva Ecija day. So noticing, there's trash middle Monday that we need to go to school. Hell!! But for a very good student like me, Fri-to-tue is declared as a long weekend. Never mind that Monday! Yay!

My mom and I planned to be that long weekend be an awesome week. So, we decided to go to Baguio City to visit my nephew and to unwind as well. We depart last Friday afternoon (Check my outfit here) here in Nueva Ecija. We arrived in Baguio City at about past 9 in the evening. We took the excess time to sleep to get more energy for the next day.

Sporty Pig

Hey!! It's been a month since my last update on my blog.  I've been busy doing some personal and school stuff. Anyway before I get too dramatic here, I wanna share this style which is not on my comfort zone. As you've been noticed, I always wear a pair of boat shoes sometimes loafers. I don't now. I'm not comfortable wearing rubber shoes. I feel like I am too big to wear this bulky shoes. Unlike wearing a boat shoes. I feel like more fashionable and ravishing. But this time, I tried a different genre just for experiment and to try the comfy feeling (they say) when wearing a pair of rubber shoes. (too much rubber shoes in that sentence. HAHA)

I'm a newbie in wearing this kind of shoes so, I just played safe in matching clothes. I just wear a polo shirt and a sport short to make me look real sporty. Actually, I am aiming to look like a tennis player. HAHA

T.G.I.Friday

The rain fell down again so I decided to make a new post while the clouds are crying (ano daw?) HAHA. It makes me more relaxed when doing stuff and everything while raining. It gives me more ideas and keep me motivated. I don't know why. I just love it when Im seeing a gloomy weather outside. Maybe because, I can wear whatever I want rather than when there's Mr. Sun. You must wear anything light, cannot wear layering stuff and honestly, its really hard to pull off an outfit when the sun is up.

Since yesterday is Friday, I decided to wear something laid yet ready-to-go on a Friday night. Since I ditched my class due to my lazy-ass, my friend came over at my house to accompany her to eat somewhere. We went to the mall. (FYI, we were wearing a same denim polo. So we get people's attention. isn't it histrionic doe?) HAHA

Sunday Breakfast

I don't usually go for breakfast everyday. But when I do, I make it big. I woke up late awhile back so I didn't have the chance to attend Sunday morning mass. I made my own breakfast, and of course for a non-cook person like me,  it must be an easy-way-anything. Haha sausage and eggs to the rescue! A simple toss in the oil and hell yeah!! Delicious!!
To make my meal a sort of dieting effect, I partnered it with a wheat bread. Haha

Laid-Back

I personally love wearing shorts partnered with a polo shirt or a pull-over. Last Friday, I go with a laid-back feels because of the gloomy weather due to the typhoon Glenda. The rain won’t stop that day. So I decided to wear comfy get-up. Even shorts are not allowed in school, I became hard-headed to wear it then. Because for me, wearing pants while raining is so much of a hassle. Normally, the tip of the pants gets wet. That’s totally No! No!

Mystique

In every university, there is a so called acquaintance party. Where all the students are gathered in a place with their dress-to-impress outfits. Last July 11, College of Arts and Sciences held their acquaintance party at WUP's gymnasium. Every students arrived with glam and excitement to be acquainted with everybody and of course, to ramp their ravishing getups.

Anyways, i'll be sharing some of the photos (more like our photos) taken on the party. BTW, these photos are to die for. This will never happen again because its our last acquaintance party (I mean their last acquaintance party. HAHA) before they graduate in college. ugh! So, here it is!

Weather's Fault

It's been awhile my beloved readers! Been busy doing stuff and everything. Anyways, Last Friday I was obliged to attend our college party at the school gymnasium. So, of course the first thing that comes out in my mind is "What to wear?" haha But first I must've admit that its so hard to pull off the outfit that I used to wear before and deciding which and what. Because of the extreme heat here in the Philippines. Even at night there's like a boiling water everywhere. I decided to wear some layering stuff (more like tiis-ganda). Polo Shirt as inner and a pull-over to look a bit formal. I partnered it with a silk black slacks to be appropriate on the said attire of the event which is semi formal to formal.

A week before the event I was kinda busy diggin' on what to wear. So I just decided to visit my sewer to check if he can sew me a pull-over in just 2days. and yes, he can naman daw. So, I hurriedly bought the fabrics which my sewer needed. At first, I doubted that I cannot pull it off because of the boiling weather. But I have no choice but to wear it instead. During the party, I was so exhausted and perspiring, but thanks to the big IWATA fan cooler that ended up being my date for the night. HAHA

On-the-Job-Training

As you noticed, I’ve been inactive posting here on my blog. So, here’s the reason why. Included in our curriculum, we were obliged to go to Manila for our On-the-job-training for the whole summer. Yes, Summer!! So, for us Psychology students in our school, we say no to tan lines, dark skins, sunblock lotions, outings and somewhat events pertaining to summer. I’m feeling sad for myself. Anyways, going back to my OJT. We had two institutions to go to, to comply our 300 hours job time. Our first institution is Sunrise Hill Therapeutic Community (clinical) where, we are able to manage different cases of disorders and interact with the patients. and the second is at Armed Forces of the Philippines Neuro Psychiatric section (industrial) where we are able to administer different kinds of psychological tests to our clients, and we were able to interview the employment clients for their initial interview.

Roof Deck Fun

Hola!! Been busy doing some of my school stuff this summer. That I haven't been posting here on my blog quite sometime. So I got a little spare time now to update my blog. But wait, I can't express my feeling right now that I am updating my blog. HAHA As in I missed this A LOT!! I think its been a month or half since the last update.

Anyways, after the travail duties at the hospital, I think its a must that I must pay back all the hard-work I did for the whole week. After assisting the ate's and kuya's, standing for about 6hrs a day and so on. I'm not indefatigable tho.

So, Saturday afternoon, I went malling with friends. Like we almost surge even the sidest part of the mall. And of course eating will not be forgotten. yes, we ate a lot that day. HAHA more like scavenger eating. HAHA

As the sun sets, I was invited to my friend of friends flat. that when we arrive there, as I saw her coming out the door, my friend of friend was used to be my elementary close friend. HAHA! Small world it is. So, we had a chit-chat over a "shembot" HAHA yes, shembot. It's a poor mans drink where in, it has a gin and a coffee and a juice in it. HAHA We did the session at the roof deck of the condo. So, to share the City Lights view, here's a picture from above!

On-the-Job-Training

Haven't been updated my blog for almost a month now. Due to busy schedules and preparation for the outset-ing of my couple-of-month-duties. We'll be having the clinical and industrial setting, which we need to consume 150hrs per institution. A mental hospital and an armed forces institution.

Last March 30, we already went here to Manila. To familiarize the roads and the ways on how we can go to our institutions. Our first stop is the clinical setting. which we were able to handle the ate's and kuya's on the mental hospital. It's kinda hard to stand for about 6hrs per day, the patience of the forbearance of the smell coming out. But hey!! No choice. Now, I realized the hard work of the salesladies around the mall. HAHA!

So, my thoughts aren't coming tonight. HAHA So I think this post must be ended!

Let's Go for Japanese!

As supervenes on my last post, I had an examination with my major subjects. As a reward for myself, I ate a lot. Ha-Ha! When you satisfy that feeling, when you did something arduous, you're dredging in to something stomach-whelming food.

So, I went to the mall with my comrades, goofing around  and hoping to find a place where we can satisfy our tummies. Out of all the resto's around the mall, we fell into Karate Kid. We have no choice because we already tried out of all the restos their. And we want something Japanese. It's the only Japanese resto in the mall. Poor Place! Ha-Ha

Skinny Wednesday

Examination Wednesday at school, with a geeky vibe. Earlier, I was exempted in one exam because of some reportings I made on the past days. But unfortunately, I didn't have the time to take some readings on my other exam because of my tardiness that I made. Going on, I approached my Trigonometry professor to catch up with my incomplete grade. So, she gave me a chance to get an special exam to become my grade be visible on the student portal.

Going back before I went to school. I was well-searching my closet on what am I going to wear for the day and the mandatory CHECK-THE-WEATHER-BEFORE-DRESSING UP.  So, I just chose the over-hanged ones with appropriate for the weather. Anyways, its been a while since I last wore jeans and FYI, a skinny jeans. Ha-Ha. Because I prefer wearing my shorts on, rather than wearing jeans.

Breakfast Haven

Typical tuesday morning and got a chance to have a breakfast with my comrades at McDonalds. Due to the ditching of our professors in our class. Yey!! Approximately we have a free cut for about 7hrs. Long cut it is!

Anyways, I have my breakfast with a 3 piece of pancakes, Hashbrown and coffee float. And of course some stealing of food with my friends. Ha-Ha!

Just so you know, me and my comrades are so annoyed because we didn't got the chance to avail their free McMuffin from 6am-9am. We thought that its available for a week but its a one-day-giveaway. Hu-Hu

House Specialty

As supervenes on my blog titled Breyswel's Cafe, these are some of the goods I ordered which supposedly their Best sellers. I swear they're really good. And the WiFi in every floor level, Its AWESOOOME!!

Breyswel's Cafe

Been hearing this new cafe for a week now.  So, out of curiosity, I personally tried this oh-so-new-hipster place Breyswel's Cafe along Mabini Extension, Cabanatuan City. Walking distance from my school, but then i can't take the heat of the sun so I rode a trike.

The place was so cozy. Like you'll be intimidated when you go there with your standard-issue clothes. Anyways, here's a sneak peak of their vicinity. (FYI, each floor lever has its own router!)

Maki Overload

Went malling today, and a call of my spoiled tummy screams. Sudden crave for some Japanese food through out the day. Well, as a food lover, there's no easy way to dwell your cravings. So, I went to Karate Kid-Robinson's Cabanatuan to fill my craving tummy. I decided to have the oh-so-popular-nowadays California Maki & Spam Maki.

California Maki with Wasabi on the side

Sweet Nothing

Remembering the DD way. Because Krispy Kreme and j.co's are way too over-rated. So, I tried this Blueberry doughnut from dunkin donut. That I never expected it was way better taste compared to the branded ones! It's not so sweet and not so pale. but it compliments on my mouth that it makes me slurp.

Anothe Day at School. (Or should I say mall?)

School day today but turns out to be a gluttony & movie day. Earlier at school, I had two reports. like, Whaaat!! But anyways, i did it well tho'. After the reportings, I must've pay myself for exchange. I went to Caffe La Tea to take some lunch with my friends. I ordered the new dish they're promoting. "The Crispy Dinuguan" (picture below) It tastes a bit salty but still conive with the crispy porky on the side. The price is right, very affordable for 89php. But i'm not sure if the serving is enough to full our tummies.

Oh! Holiday...

So, this is my very first letter post on my blog. Something just pop-up on my mind, that I want to post a pure letter. I mean without photographs. Anyways, the main thought of this post is, I just want to share that today is national holiday here In the Philippines. Today is EDSA revolution as they called. EDSA Rev. is also known as people power revolution. In 1986, millions of people toppled in EDSA. Where they were against Marcos’. The gang of people lay down the street just to not cross-over the heavy tanks. When the soldiers gave up, the Filipinos sang the famous song here in the Philippines and here it goes, “ibon man may layang lumipaaad” HA-HA. Since then, that day was proclaimed as a national holiday.

Anyways, before I forget that this is a blog not  E-classroom. I just want to share what happens to me all day. As in I’m super bored. Like I wish that we had a class today. I’m home alone, no one to cook, no one to talk to. By the way, I cooked my lunch (achievement). I cooked I mean over-cooked luncheon meat. It went black. My god! Waste of time and money. Don’t have guts to eat those. HAHA

So, that completes my oh-so-boring-holiday.

Up to the North!!

I got bored today so I decided to post my post to-leave-town-summer. We travel by land from Cabanatuan City to Ilocos Sur. It took us for about 5-7 hrs. But it crashes all our mood when we finally reached the town. By the way, I was with my cousin and my sister that time. We stayed at my brothers townhouse for the rest of our trip. And of course i will not lose the chance of tasting all the Ilocos cuisine. i started at Vigan Heritage to feel to oldy way lifestyle. and there you can find the most come back Empanada House. Oh my god! T'was really delicious like i can eat all of their stuffs.

Mr. and Ms. Wesleyan 2014

The Wesleyan University-Philippines celebrated their 68th founding anniversary. Which the students are in full-in activities. Different booths, different  gimmicks to earn funds. But the most highlighted and awaited event of the week was the Mr. and Ms. Wesleyan 2014. All the colleges must have their pair to be given a chance to crown as the title. Last Febrauary 14, 2014, the coronation night was held at the university gymnasium. Mixed emotions between the audience and the candidates. The pageant started at 6:30PM. the gymnasium was thunderpealing as the candidates starts to ramp on the centerstage! Expectedly, our male candidate from Psychology Society, Jason Nava and Mass Com Society, Gladyz Ventosa brags the top 5! Though we have a pair who didn't make it to the top 5. We must not affect by that.We were cheering like retards! but that's okay. At least we bring home the crown as Ms. Wesleyan 2014 and Mr. Wesleyan 1st runner up! Kudos, CAS family!!

Poverty VS. Happiness

Last monday, I was invited to be part of the unleashing  of Wesleyan University-Philippines Mass Communication students photo exhibit. Their shots was all about the Poverty Vs. Happiness. As i've seen on the photographs, the Filipinos don't mind what poverty is. As long as they are happy with their family it's already a life. The studio was filled with heart-melted photographs, which i've realized that I was so blessed with what I have now. Anyways, the MC students deserves a slow clap with standing ovation. T'was really awesome!

Smart Mule

Up to the last minute, of course i don't accede that we're not going to purchase something on the mall. Though, it's one of the reasons why we don't catch the trip back to cabanatuan. Anyways, i found a GAP reddish orange hoodie that suits my fat belly.HAHA! Of course, I don't want to be disappointed at the end that i didn't buy that. So,I hurriedly called my mom to grab this and swipe everything. And yes, the hoodie is already on my closet!
