Anothe Day at School. (Or should I say mall?)

School day today but turns out to be a gluttony & movie day. Earlier at school, I had two reports. like, Whaaat!! But anyways, i did it well tho'. After the reportings, I must've pay myself for exchange. I went to Caffe La Tea to take some lunch with my friends. I ordered the new dish they're promoting. "The Crispy Dinuguan" (picture below) It tastes a bit salty but still conive with the crispy porky on the side. The price is right, very affordable for 89php. But i'm not sure if the serving is enough to full our tummies.

Oh! Holiday...

So, this is my very first letter post on my blog. Something just pop-up on my mind, that I want to post a pure letter. I mean without photographs. Anyways, the main thought of this post is, I just want to share that today is national holiday here In the Philippines. Today is EDSA revolution as they called. EDSA Rev. is also known as people power revolution. In 1986, millions of people toppled in EDSA. Where they were against Marcos’. The gang of people lay down the street just to not cross-over the heavy tanks. When the soldiers gave up, the Filipinos sang the famous song here in the Philippines and here it goes, “ibon man may layang lumipaaad” HA-HA. Since then, that day was proclaimed as a national holiday.

Anyways, before I forget that this is a blog not  E-classroom. I just want to share what happens to me all day. As in I’m super bored. Like I wish that we had a class today. I’m home alone, no one to cook, no one to talk to. By the way, I cooked my lunch (achievement). I cooked I mean over-cooked luncheon meat. It went black. My god! Waste of time and money. Don’t have guts to eat those. HAHA

So, that completes my oh-so-boring-holiday.

Up to the North!!

I got bored today so I decided to post my post to-leave-town-summer. We travel by land from Cabanatuan City to Ilocos Sur. It took us for about 5-7 hrs. But it crashes all our mood when we finally reached the town. By the way, I was with my cousin and my sister that time. We stayed at my brothers townhouse for the rest of our trip. And of course i will not lose the chance of tasting all the Ilocos cuisine. i started at Vigan Heritage to feel to oldy way lifestyle. and there you can find the most come back Empanada House. Oh my god! T'was really delicious like i can eat all of their stuffs.

Mr. and Ms. Wesleyan 2014

The Wesleyan University-Philippines celebrated their 68th founding anniversary. Which the students are in full-in activities. Different booths, different  gimmicks to earn funds. But the most highlighted and awaited event of the week was the Mr. and Ms. Wesleyan 2014. All the colleges must have their pair to be given a chance to crown as the title. Last Febrauary 14, 2014, the coronation night was held at the university gymnasium. Mixed emotions between the audience and the candidates. The pageant started at 6:30PM. the gymnasium was thunderpealing as the candidates starts to ramp on the centerstage! Expectedly, our male candidate from Psychology Society, Jason Nava and Mass Com Society, Gladyz Ventosa brags the top 5! Though we have a pair who didn't make it to the top 5. We must not affect by that.We were cheering like retards! but that's okay. At least we bring home the crown as Ms. Wesleyan 2014 and Mr. Wesleyan 1st runner up! Kudos, CAS family!!

Poverty VS. Happiness

Last monday, I was invited to be part of the unleashing  of Wesleyan University-Philippines Mass Communication students photo exhibit. Their shots was all about the Poverty Vs. Happiness. As i've seen on the photographs, the Filipinos don't mind what poverty is. As long as they are happy with their family it's already a life. The studio was filled with heart-melted photographs, which i've realized that I was so blessed with what I have now. Anyways, the MC students deserves a slow clap with standing ovation. T'was really awesome!

Smart Mule

Up to the last minute, of course i don't accede that we're not going to purchase something on the mall. Though, it's one of the reasons why we don't catch the trip back to cabanatuan. Anyways, i found a GAP reddish orange hoodie that suits my fat belly.HAHA! Of course, I don't want to be disappointed at the end that i didn't buy that. So,I hurriedly called my mom to grab this and swipe everything. And yes, the hoodie is already on my closet!

So, we need to wait for another 1hr for the Tuguegarao bus. In short, we'll be having a short trip. Without knowing what seats are we getting. (either standing or center seat) But A+ for the experience. Nice chatting with my Ilocanos/igorots seatmates. HAHA they even offered me their food. Great people!
